What You’ll Do

As a Teen Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teens through personalized 1:1 mentoring sessions and collaborative work with their families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building trusting relationships with teens to provide guidance, support, and encouragement.
• Conducting 1:1 mentoring sessions tailored to each teen’s unique challenges and goals.
• Collaborating with parents to provide feedback and suggestions that enhance family dynamics through email and messaging.
• Maintaining detailed, confidential records of mentoring sessions and teen progress.
• Coordinating with the TeenCare team to align mentoring strategies with program objectives.
• Supporting client families with scheduling, communication, and program logistics.
• Participating in scheduled team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Committing to mentoring students for the duration of their program (3–12 months).

Skills and Qualities:

• Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to connect authentically with teens.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Organizational and time-management skills for handling schedules and reporting.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive topics.

Experience:

• Previous experience in class management, youth mentoring, coaching, or counseling is highly valued.
• A background in education, psychology, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with family dynamics and culturally sensitive approaches is a bonus.

What We Offer

• Compensation: Fixed salary ranging from 4,000,000–7,000,000 VND (part-time/full-time) + commissions for student renewals + bonuses based on student and parent satisfaction.

• Location: Remote
• Commitment: Full-time: 40–45 hours/week; Part-time: 20–25 hours/week
